Major Miner Media Screwup

I am so upset at what happened in West Virginia this week, that i almost can not talk. Once again those blood suckers who run the media in this country got it wrong. What am I talking about? The mine accident in West Virginia. In an effort to get the story out fast, they got it all wrong and now a bad situation has gotten worse. No longer concerned with the truth, only with making sales, they falsely reported that the 12 miners that were stuck in that mine were alive and well. Guess what they were not. All but one was dead, and the sole survivor is far from well. What is the point of free press in this country if they are no longer interested in getting the story straight. Whatever happened to checking the facts, and making sure the story is correct before sending it out? After all these are the same people who sit up on their soap boxes talking about rightousness and morality and they go and print that the minners were rescued. That is a gross misjustice to the friends and families who had their hopes falsely inflated and then brutaly crushed. And for what, so that they can sell a few newspapers. Not only do I hope that the families of the dead miners sue the newspapers, but i hope they win a large settlement, enough to make the media know that we are tired of their crap. Whether its printing arab lies (like the so called Jenin Massacre) to the Dan Rather story, it is about time we hold them accountable. If you are going to print a story, make sure its the truth. That means checking your facts, and not just once, as many times as it takes till they get it right. There must be accountability in the media, and the only way to do that is to hit them where it hurts, in the purse strings. If you get a story wrong they must pay, especially when it does as much damage as they did in West Virginia. The least they could have done is to apologize, explain that they are blood sucking parasites whose only interest is money and pushing their own personal agendas. Then we would know what to expect.
